IslandCalc is developed by Qinglin Liu.
IslandCalc requires no account. It does not collect or upload personal information, calculations, usage records or device identifiers to developer servers. It contains no advertising, third-party analytics SDKs or tracking.
The current expression, result, angle mode, undo state and history are stored in an on-device shared app container so the app, widgets and Live Activity can share calculations. Up to 50 history records are retained. You can clear history in the app. Removing the app deletes its local data; system backups are managed through your Apple settings.
When you enable a Live Activity, expressions or results may appear on Dynamic Island or the Lock Screen. You can end it in the app or manage its visibility in system settings. Copy Result writes the result to the system clipboard. IslandCalc does not read the clipboard.
Support and privacy pages are hosted on GitHub Pages. The hosting provider may process standard web access logs under its own policies. If you email support, the developer uses the information you provide only to respond to your request, not for advertising or tracking.
